IT'S THE SEASON FOR GIVING and if you haven't already given to your local United Way or Community Chest it's not too late. All donations are needed .... and appreciated. The area United Ways and Community Chests express their appreciation to all the wonderful folks who have supported them over the years making it possible to help fund many worthy local projects and causes. In the photo, santa is happy to take part in the gift giving as Marty Hammersley, (i.) branch manager of Mirabito Fuel Group, presents their donation to Dennis Porter, Executive Director of the Sidney United Way.

 

 

SIDNEY UNITED WAY SUPPORTS the Sidney High School Band trip to Florida with a special donation. Cathy Graham (L), member of the United Way, presents a check to Marie Gray, chair of the Booster Club fundraising. This is a once in a lifetime event and the Sidney United Way believes that the financial assistance they can provide will help promote the growth and quality of the Sidney Band. The band can be seen and heard at local parades and events and provides a very worthwhile activity for our local youth.
