Sidney Recreation Commission
A GENEROUS DONATION from the United Way of Sidney is presented to Paul Foote, Sidney Recreation Director (r.) by Len Parren, a United Way of Sidney director.
SIDNEY - The Sidney United Way is providing funding to the Sidney Recreation Commission for the purchase of baseballs and softballs for their upcoming youth leagues.
The funding will provide 42 dozen baseballs and softballs for the 21 teams in six different leagues. Approximately 275 youth, ages 5-16, will benefit from this generous donation.
The Sidney Recreation Commission provides youth activities free of charge to residents of the Sidney Central School District.
The Sidney Recreation Commission is a member organization of the Sidney United Way, and thanks them for their continued support of youth recreational activities.
