Support Trailside Concerts
SIDNEY - A donation from the United Way of Sidney will help the Sidney Community Band continue to promote the Sidney Trailside Concert Series. This year they are celebrating their ninth season with seven concerts planned.
The 2011 concert season opens July 13 and runs every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. though August 24. These free concerts are held in the pavilion area of the walking trail in Keith Clark Park, River St., Sidney.
The concert series has been funded through grants, sponsorships of individual concerts and private donations.
The Sidney Community Band sponsors the concert series under the wing of the Sidney Community Foundation, which has a 501c status making donations tax deductible.
